I really wish I could go. But right now I don't even have one running car. I'll be praying for him and his family. I think I only meet Dave once but this just sucks to hear about anybody getting shot.

i was just rambling I'm heading to the house in a min 2 start cleaning the car up some

I don't ask for much, well okay seems like I do but I really hope we can make a showing of cars to support Dave's last get together. Rain or shine, it's on. Some guys are meeting here at my house around around 1 to 1:30 If you can't make it here we will see you at Dobb's on the Ave.

Thanks to everyone that showed up. A full scale of emotions ran through my head all day. I'm sure Dave would have loved the send off we gave him. I have some pics I will post when I get time. I know a few drove a long way and took time to show support for Dave and his family.THANK YOU! From what I hear the cops are still looking for a few wreckless drivers that held up traffic and was destroying the fresh air with tire smoke.. Dave would have loved it!

God let the rain pour a few times. The skies looked rough.

The director ask if we could put down some rubber when we left. I've never heard of a preacher want to see a patch layed down but some would have done it no matter what. Anyone that knew Dave knew that he would have wanted this way. I guess God knew what Dave wanted too because the sky cleared up enough to do some tire smoke and after we was done it became a down pour again. I have no still photo's of the burnouts. I hope Joe or someone else can post some.

The funeral homes nice paved lot now host a few black marks as well as the city street.

The cops were looking for some of us but we managed to make it out of town. A cop was called in and was told to stay on the corner of the funeral home for an hour to see if we came back through.
We stopped at McDonalds to get a bight to eat before some of made the trip out to the County to Dave's mom's house.
