1989 camaro iroc/rs
I have A 1989 camaro half rs half iroc. Just got it home a few days ago. As it sets there is no motor or trans but I am getting a 350 and I am still in the process of finding a 700r4. Today I went and picked up my Borg Warner rear end that I might put in it. The rear end needs calipers shocks and lines that I know of. Also today I replaced the sway bar end links on both sides and replaced the strut and spring on the drivers side ( other side done before I got car ). I guess that's it for now...

Re: 1989 camaro iroc/rs
Got my wiring harness saturday and got my trans yesterday. The computer and the wiring in the car need to go. I want to get around a 3500 rpm stall converter and a 10 bolt rear end with 5.13 gears. Motors coming home soon. Need to get the throttle body off it when i get it and get a carb too. Im redoing the motor mounts now. I cant believe it took me two weeks to get them off. Hurt my arm again taking the trans outta the back of the truck into the barn. Some ford boy with a bright red neck crushed my arm in a 200 pound camaro hatch at the junk yard. Installing rest of shifter soon and lots more stuff

What are you doing with a 5.13, pulling out tree stumps? I take it this is not going to see much street duty.

It would be different if you lived in the city but out where you are at you can forget about driving it to town. It would be bad enough with 411's I'd go with a 373's if you are planning on driving it on AA or 27 for anything over 15 miles.

Yea that's prolly the best idea. Before mom changed the rear end in her 72 there was a true posi in it and I remember the slighest curve would make the entire rear of the car bounce and jerk and skid like nothin I've ever seen. It was hilarious backing out of a parking space.
