I need to invest in some tools. Riggs car kicked my butt today. all I wanted to do is cut a notch out of two 1/4" pieces of steel. we used a drill, jigsaw, hand grinder, a hammer and a air die grinder to make a rough cut. nothing worked good. jigsaw burned it's blade up in one pass. my hand grinder is screwed up and only works for 2 or 3 minutes at a time. the cooling fan broke off and now it over heats. Riggs hand grinder is missing the adapter to use my kind of cut off disk. we managed to get two pieces rough cut and then took them to Riggs bench top grinder to smoth out the work. the motor is bad on it. as soon as you touch it, it stops. man!!! I stopped for the day and Riggs is out looking at tools now. lol I haven't had this much trouble with something like this in years. something simple turned into a side show. [url=http://www.smil

Either that or just use some duct tape, then you won't need any stinking stitches!

we were in the garage last night, tried to get the mounts mounted. but the tranny is hitting the orginial crossmember so i need to trim some more of it off. i plan on jacking the car up and putting jack stands under it, then pull the rear end. while im under that ill trim up the rest of the org. tranny crossmember.

we cut the torque tube up with a saw.. you would have to convert it to an open driveshaft
