I found Aryan a hood for $120.00. It's a pin on but that is okay.

He's stuck on flat black for some reason. I still have plenty to do around here so it won't see color till sometime this summer.

I went out to the garage last night and got Aryans hood pinned down and the wiper cowl bolted on. It was nice to get back out there and get something done now that it's not freezing.

The red tailgate stuck out like crazy so we spray bombed it.

We also cut the rest of the sticker up and made this. It looks a little funny on the windshield so we will be scraping it off.

Aryan what are we going to do with the birds? They seem to be making a mess in the back of your truck.

Just for the nay sayer. Yes Aryan works on his own junk. We help him out but he is the boss over his S10. Note the painted black finger from painting on the tailgate. I was told by a club member that it was my truck. I said no it's Aryans. He said yeah but it's yours. Let me tell ya. All my kids have their own rides and trust me they are their rides. lol.

Aryan wanted to take his S10 down in Eastern Kentucky for a car show Carter County Cruisers were doing. He made enough money that he bought some primer, tape and some odds and ends. It was a mad thrash to say the least. He made it home from school at 3:00 am and we worked on it straight through untill it was done at 3:00 am. 12 hours straight. Few hours of sleep and we were headed down into Ky.
Here Aryan's taking off his taillights.

We did a little engine work. Cleaning up some bad vacuum lines and some other stuff. The heater control even on cold still let hot air blow in the cab so we by-passed the heater. When it gets cold he can put the hoses back on it.
We yanked the chrome grille and was thinking about running this Oldsmoble Grille. He may put the chrome grill back in but he can switch them around for a while to see what he likes.

Sanding, sanding and some more sanding. We did a little body work while we were at it.

Before we laid any primer on it we needed to address the lip that was cutting the edge of the tire. We were switching the lowering blocks but still wanted to remove that sharp inner fender lip. I showed Aryan the ol' aluminum bat trick. This isn't for the fragile car owners. Watching your wheel well rolled out 1/4" from where the factory put them is scary. It also rolled the sharp lip up. I did them both and then let Arayn have a turn to show him how to do it without wrinkling anything.
