I'll be there in something. I'm just shooting for the T. Be nice to get some of these guys that haven't gone yet to go. For a smaller show it is one of the better one's for me.

I'd like to attend in my T as well but am having a snag in the parts dept with the Trans parts and carb(lack of funds and finding a short tail shaft section)... I guess I need to just steal Steve's iron Duke and run that atleast that would get it on the road alot sooner...I'd buy it but times are tuff all over....

May 24th..... Its a really cool show that is starting to out grow its venue. Happens on the Sunday before Memorial day so most people have off that Monday. Everyone should try and check this one out.

I have 2 wide five wheels already but I have not sand blasted them yet to see how usable they are. I ran across this one on Ebay and won the bid. Here's his add. Sounds like a good rim.
HERE IS ONE EARLY FORD WIDE FIVE ARTILLARY WHEEL IT IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE IT IS FRESHLY BEAD BLASTED, NO DENTS OR CURB RASH AND ABSOLUTELY NO RUST DARE I SAY, (MINT CONDITION) ALL LUG HOLES ARE GOOD AS WELL AS ALL THE HUBCAP CLIPS ITS 16 BY 3 AND 1/2 INCH

Well my worse fear has happened. The 39 front end I bought isn't coming. All the wide five stuff I've bought not counting the gas money for running is lost. After getting the run around for weeks the guy told me flat out today that he wasn't sending me the axle. He said it was too big to ship. I am now in the middle of trying to get my money back from Pay Pal. This is the second big hit I've taken from Ebay. The first time with the glass for the 36 didn't turn out good. Pay Pal wouldn't return my cash then because of the time amount with us trying to work it out. You have limited time to pull your money. I will see how this one goes. If I get screwed out of my cash this time I won't ever use Ebay again. At a rating of 322 all 100% looks like they would do more than they do but oh well.

Where is the axle located at Steve? If we have some guys anywhere close I could maybe have it picked up for you and relay it back here...

Me and this (BEEP) has been into pretty heavy. Pay Pal froze his account and now he seems to be freaking out. I got an email from him this morning. He told me that he would send it out and send me a tracking number no later than Monday. This has been said before so I'm not holding my breath. I'll see how it goes. I thought about telling him I'd drive up and get it but after the words we have had I figured I end up at a close up shop and no one around. I can't stand all this new age computer tuff guy crap either. Most of these guys hide behind the keyboard acting like Billy Badass. Dives me up a friggin' wall. He says that he owns a hot rod shop and he's been open for 44 years. He sure doesn't act like it..
Thanks for the offer Benny but with what all has been said he may be a little funny now and I wouldn't want anyone to walk in some place and the shit hit the fan over a deal that is mine. I wish I was closer so I could just drop in to scare the shit out of him but that's a long ways. LOL.

Understand what you mean Steve. I hope it works out for the best. However if he does continue to be a pain in your (BEEP) just let me know. I can have the Boston boys pick up your axle for you with no worries about any shit hitting the fan. Wink That's what friends do. Besides, I am sure he would be much less of a "tough guy" in person. Let me know if you need any help whatsoever...
