First day we got it to the house we cleaned the slime off of it, toss away a bunch of garbage, ripped the dog house off and took the windshield out of it.

By the time we ripped the dog house off there were a few guys to help push it in the garage.

Tony & Derrek Shield, Joe Boggs, Kenny, Riggs, Myself and Aryan got her out of the weather. It went in the garage and I was ready for the windshield. While washing it the water was pouring in the windshield. Shocked I told someone that I just put that seal in and then thought about it. I did put one in about 15 years ago. LOL.. after it was in the garage Tony showed me why it was leaking. The bottom rubber that bolts on the car to hold the bottom of the winshield was gone. The windshield had slid on down opening the top of it. Only thing I can think of is when I nailed it in front of the house and slammed the front end on the ground last time it was out. I sheared the pins off the rear leaf springs and mess up my exhaust. I guess I knocked the bottom rubber off the cowl that day too. Evil or Very Mad

Some rust I found from the bad windshield. I'm going to have to rip the dash out and do some welding & metal work. The right side is rough the left side is perfect still.

I know this is typical of second gen F bodies but it's a big deal to me. It won't be patch up. This will be all redone in metal the right way.
I haven't ripped out the carpet yet to see how bad the floors are. I'm sure with the water pouring in I have some work to do.

I don't think I have half of those. I'll have to look but I think I have 150, 250, 350, 400 It's been a while since I've looked though I may have more than that.

I got the dash out of her today and cut the rusty stuff out. I need to get some wire for the mig and start welding. I shaped some metal and hopefully will have some of it welded in soon.

This was worse than I thought. It was more of a factory flaw than anything. Everyone knows these F bodies rot in this spot. They are double panels and have a non primed or painted peice of metal with a 80 or 90 thousands of a gap between them. The moisture gets trapped and they rust from the inside out. A simple small hole in the bottom from the factory would have solved this problem.

The air and heater has been gone from the car for almost 20 years. The wipers were taken off 15 years ago. why? Why not? I don't drive it in the winter. It's not driven that much in the rain(slicks) and if I do toss street tires on it I can use RainX in the rain. So why all the hole in the car? I've wanted to weld up the vents and the wiper hole for a long time but didn't feel like yanking the windshield out. This is the perfect time to do it. All it is is a place for water to go and cause rust.

That red is a Ford truck door skin I got off of Big Dog. I know that it being a Ford panel I may have to replace it soon from the rust but it will have to do for now.LOL Don't beat me up Dog J/K. LOL...

This will be the fun one to shape.

Thanks to Johnny Stamper I came across a parts car. This was a complete car minus the engine and trans. We stripped it to the bones. There were alot of good parts on it. I have everything to put my car together but finding it in all the boxed up parts is costly on time.
