thanks ken and dog. some of the posts on the gasser upset me, and i just had to say something. we are supposed to do everything as a club, but some people say i and me too much . i am one of the least selfish people you will meet, so i just had to. dont mean to upset or anger anyone thats just how i feel. i love being a part of the club and its members.

You dog......You already have one car with a straight axle. Do you want them all? That little Ford would look sooo cool running at the NHHR next year with a small block of some kind in it and F/Gas on the window. I know where you could get a couple of pit crew members. One thinks she belongs on the starting line anymore. The noise, smell and dirt don't really bother her.

I agree and I got thinking that I dont have the room or time to mess with it any way and where would I put the motor if I got it back,if its sold I want the money to go in the treasury for food and drinks. I really dont think the club should have a project car due to all not being able to work on it and the one time I was there during a work session it was a cluster with too many people and not enough room, what would be better is a club garage so anyone can work on their own cars with help from others and not have a project car that will have everyone fussing over it.

this also makes great sense and the ones that don't help at all w the car will still want a piece so

Tonight I was a little shocked. A new member, Jr. Ard that is not even online walked up to me and donated 10 bucks towards a set of front springs for the gasser. He didn't even know we was talking about the car. It was in the news letter and he thought he would toss in 10 bucks. Cole drove down from Dayton tonight and donated 20 bucks towards the springs. We will put the money back and see how everything works out. If we can get a couple bucks for the springs I will order them. I'll toss in another 25 bucks myself.
