Stewart's 49 Plymouth

Post by RebStew on November 18th 2007, 11:20 pm

This rod was traded off between club members in the middle of the build.

Figured I'd post Steve Vicker's new 49 he got today because he still lives in a cave and has no computer. the car has a good body on it. it is a killer start to a cool rod. the body work is almost done. all the glass is super nice. it has a 80's G body front clip with a Camaro rearend. power steering, power brakes, all the light & turn signals work. it has a Chevy 350/350 with a few go goodies on her. he traded the Elky and some cash for it.

If you don't like my dinged and dented hot rod sitting next to yours, put yours back on it's trailer and leave!

this is the car as he bought it. he says he is going to lower it, change the wheels and tire combo and toss on some paint. he said he wants me to lay out some flames on it when he get the paint done.

Its a early 49 and it has the same body as the 46 to 48s,I heard about the early 49s but have never seen one so if its titled as a 49 and the numbers match its a early 49. If he wants to get rid of the wheels I could use them for the 37 if I go with GM bolt pattern. Jeff

when I seen it I told him it didn't look like a 49 to me but he says it is. I told him it looked like a 46. I'll ask him about the rims. he's taking them off. steelies and wide white are going on it he said

What kind of exhaust has that thing got. Loud or quiet? Glass pacs or big seamed mufflers?
