Got lucky and found another project

I was heading east back towards kentcuky and stopped at this gas station. As I was filling the truck up, this guy pulled up in a mini van. We started talking and he asked me if I would be interested in a late model pontiac. I told him I might be. He said that he only lived three miles down the road and wanted to know if I wanted to go look at it. I looked at it and toild him I would be back in about a month.

The car is a factory manual floor shift car. I found a guy who has a set of pedals. I just need to see what year the engine is. I was told by the previous owner that it is a 400.

i have a 389 that has been sitting in the woods. I don't know anything about it. I got it about 15 years ago and covered the carb with a T/A shaker scoop to keep the rain out. It may be a totle pile of junk or there may be a few thing savable on it. We'd have to figure a way to get it out of the woods if you want it.
