My car is worthless???

I've posted my 67 impala on craigslist. Complete body with no engine or trans currently in the car but I have a combo in a 82 chevy truck. The car is super solid with only one major place of rust that can be easily fixed. I've had several people call and email saying they would take it if only I had a title. I have one guy calling me several times trying to low ball me. But tonight I get this email. Kind of pisses me off. Just trying to figure out what to say.

forgot to say that he is trying to trade someone else his car for an s10 and some other crap.

im the dude that called u about ur 67 impala 2-3 times. id still like very much to get that car man. but ur askin more for it than u are ur truck that has a running engine and transmission. i mean... i just sold a 67 impala man i know what their worth. if u can do 800 i can do it. but i cant pay that much for a body without even the original motor laying around. i dont think anyone will. but again. id love to have it. i figured id hit u up again before i buy this 55 truck thats right down from your ad, for 600. running w original motor etc. i can give u an s-10 body out of it maybe. a nice s-10 body. racing seats etc. but if i do that then i cant do any cash. cuz its worth more than the car. it can be sold quicker, for what ur asking for the impala, without a motor. its custom. ready for a v8. just let me kn ow what you think. if we cant work out anything then we cant. but surely we can do something.

What a goof. If he doesn't have the cash he should just say so and be done with it. I'd tell him to go try to con someone else and stop calling you with bullcrap offers.

He called me the first time and wanted to know how much for just the body and I told him what I wanted for the body with a title. So he calls a second time and offers me $500 or something. I told him that I couldn't do it and says some dollar amount for the body that "I mentioned earlier" (He tried to trick me out $300 by saying that I told him some lower amount). I informed him what I told him what I wanted for just the body and title the first time he called.

yea if it had a title I would be all over it myself

who has the 55 truck for sale?

I'm getting a title to it but I just have to go to th local county clerk and fill out a form. Wait 2-3 weeks and get a title in the mail.


I don't know about the truck. I remeber seeing one for sale on criagslist but i think it was a long bed. Check louisville, bowlin green and lexington.
