What has hotroding turned into.

I just don't get some people. Everyone knows what I think about the term rat rod. I was hoping this fad would go out of style but then I see stuff like this. I'm not knocking the guy for building what he wants but if someone can take the time to pick through parts like he did and build a car, why not build something that doesn't look like a cartoon driving down the street.

Rat Rods?

Question Steve, I don't know much about hot rods and rat rods except that rat rods usually go to extremes. Neither one of these would qualify for that, especially the first one. It looks pretty much like a standard roadster with the exception of that bar or whatever it is going down the outside from the front to the back. And as far as the second ones goes, the only thing I see in it that would qualify it for a rat rod title is the rat sitting on the radiator. Just my opinion.

i totally agree... to much time and talent there to build something so "trashy" looking. they both look like they had just a bunch of parts laying around and nothing better to do with it than this. i have seen the second one 3 different times now on sleez-bay and he must have an outrageous price on it because it's still there.

The first one looks a good starting point for a neat car. But that secound one is just goofy.

I think the first one could run for AMBR next year that thing is awesome just imagine the ladies you could pick up in that sweet (BEEP) ride. I think I'm gonna bid on it.
