UNDUN in LEXINGTUN

Post by LRS30 on September 11th 2008, 12:39 am

Another Show to think about on the 20th of September.. These guys tend to throw down pretty hard...

Just in case, just throwing it out there, not trying to cause problems, just helping out, ... Cool

More like, whats up with the whole month of September? We've quit trying to plan anything for September around here. Too many other things going on. Not just car shows but festivals as well. I guess it's because the weather is starting to cool off.

If you like the old iron then this is the show for you. If you are into late models or fancy crap then this show really isn't for you. You can park your ride outside and take a look.
WARNING! You may get converted and become a real hot rodder!!!

Here are the rules for the show!
Here are the rules. Read 'em and weep: 1967 and earlier TRADITIONAL Style Rods , Customs , and Early Mucle Cars ONLY! No billet-clad fluff-mobiles (if you think this means you then it probably does. So walk in and check out some real rides) Traditionally styled choppers and bobbers ONLY! (No modern West Coast Choppers, OCC style fluff bikes) No trailered cars (race only vehicles excepted) No digital gauges (it's not traditional and it's ugly) No IFS on fenderless cars (it's not traditional and it's ugly) Keep in mind that we have the right to refuse any vehicle , so read the rules carefully and decide for yourself. Don't cry when we turn you away!

This show sounds like alot of fun. I would have to trailer it to Lexington (50 mph will get me killed on I-75), but will the '47 fit in at all in it's current state?

I have big plans for the winter to turn it into a "traditional" rod (Fenton Headers, dual single barrel intake, real lakes), but currently it is what it is.

It will fit in just fine. Let me know if you for sure want to go. I may try to get some of the guys together and drive in together.

This is a great show..... I will be there late in the afternoon. I went last year and my roadster got an award for best paint.

I don't usually go for the trophies, but I was honored to receive such a cool award. Hope some of you guys can make it down on the 19th.

A bunch of us are going from here in eastern KY. There's no way I'd miss it.

A couple of the guys from The Brothers McGillicutty showed up at the Heritage Show (Modern Custom Show) in Whitesburg this weekend. Cassanova, Pierre and Ron came rolling in in Cassanova's Wagon. It was fun to hear all the younger mini truck guys going nuts over that wagon.

If I had about 400 flyers I could pass them out up in Milford Friday night. Some of the Poor Boys Bike Club may be interested too..I'll see if I can run down Nick Noble and see if they want to come down.
