Hell no...not recent at all...I love that old stuff...everyone has seen the professional pictures time and time again, I always found that the one-off, spectators pictures are the best. That is some great stuff....and as soon as I get my scanner hooked back up...which actually might be today, I will send some stuff over...like the Mo-Honker 55 Chevy and the Mr. Unswitchable sitting on a trailer at Tri-State...to name a couple.

I got a ton of slides from the early 70's mostly from National events but it's not the Pro Cars. The other night I scanned about 150 pix of a Points Meet at Edgewater from the mid 70's and they're about all Super Stock and Modified cars. Only a few women (that was a mistake, should have been more!). I have hundreds of pix from old car meets too but the old racing ones are the ones that tug on my heart strings when I'm going thru them. Evidently I had a lot more fun at the races than I did at the car shows. Back then my wife and I went to about four National events a year, from Englishtown to Gainesville to Ontario (CA) to Montreal. We usually did half the points meet in our division. About the only shows that were fun back then was the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals when it was in Indy. It was about the wildest street thing I've ever seen or heard of. Definately more to come................

Yeah, I think you can pull these off my Photobucket. The link is above. I got plenty on CD's. I gave Rebstew a few to give to Da Injun. I've got a file of just old ticket stubs that I think are really cool, and I've kinda started a file of the old stckers I have. The art work on some of those are pretty neat. I wish I could scan my old tool box and a couple of my old coolers. LOL Let me know what kind of stuff you want Kid and we'll deal on some flamethrowing technology. I'll make the CD's and you take me to Radio Shack. We might be able to come up with something to be able to sell to the Benjamins. LOL

I'm not sure where to park a lot of this junk. I don't know how many I can put on my Photobucket. I had some old show pix on yahoo but they quit that................gone.
