Amy's 57 210 wagon

Post by Lady rebel on February 8th 2009, 4:00 pm

My wonderful husband traded his 49 Plymouth for my 1957 wagon. Even though Steve doesn't like it, but I love it. I guess this is my early Anniversery gift.. I Love You
Babe!! I love you

It's rough in a few places and needs work in others. With age comes beauty. And she's a beauty! (admit it Steve you know you like her)

The future colors has not yet been determined. Steve does like the tail pipes though.

Chad seemed to like her. He had to turn on and touch everything. Just to make sure it all worked of course.

New paint, exhaust, maybe tires & rims, more to come.....

That thing is "TIGHT"! I really do like it. I looked at a 57 Chevy Wagon to buy last year but it was a basket case. I like it. Steve don't I guess Me, Amy and the kids will cruise it to get some ice cream.

Defenatly a step above the ply. Did you have to pay to get rid of the ply? Is this a keeper or one to fluff up and move it to? Being as you have a wagon Steve do we change your name to Clark and call it the Stewert Familey Truckster!!! Smile Either way it looks like a good trade. Homie you did good!! Smile

:king: I told her the best thing on the car was the T/A tips. lol
The 57 is not bad. I just never was a tri five guy. I told her it was up to her and she could do what she wanted. The guy called me and was freaking out wanting the Plymouth. He never even drove the Plymouth..I was trying to get out of the deal even though Amy wanted the wagon. I told the guy I wanted my fag wheels off the Plymouth if we traded. Without skipping a beat he said to follow him to his house and and we would switch 'em. The front seat has been redone and the new covers for the rear seat is in the car ready to be put on. I will have to get some hog rings. I took it to the car wash late tonight. It looks a little better with the dirt off of it. I hate to say it but it ride smoother than my 61 did. Little too much gear but it's okay. 350/350 Aluminum intake and all the chrome goodies. He was even letting me have the 150 dollar billet geek breather.
Not my kind of car but whatever A.J. wants she can have. This is her car she can sell it, keep it, junk it, whatever she wants to do with it. Wink
Only big downfall to it was that one of my matching carbs for my 2X4 setup was on the Plymouth. No biggie I'll buy another.

I can't see the pics here at work but any wagon is a good deal. At least that's my opinion.

I love it. Great family cruiser. I know some people don't care for a quadra hatch, but for a family it's practical.
