I'm looking for a new rod

Post by RebStew on Fri 20 Feb - 18:02

If anyone see's something cool let me know. I like oddball stuff as some of you know. 72 and down prefered. I'd like to stay in the late 50's early 60's type cars or trucks. IT HAS TO RUN. a little work is okay but I'm down without a car and it's easier to buy one at this point. I tried to work in the garage tonight but the floor had my feet below 0 even with the reddy heater and the pot belly stove going. I have no time so I'm on the lookout for a ride. If someone see's something cool please post it.
I have my eye on this.

That thing's kinda cool. It's like almost an F-100 so you would be like almost as cool as Rusty. Looks like it's waiting for a 440 six pac and a 727.

To keep on subject, that old mopar is cool. Seems like Steve has a soft spot for a penta star.

As a side note - I'm trying to talk my Amie into doing a little camping this summer.

Not on the subject but Corey wants that Datsun. I need to figure out a way to get it. I just can't see 1200 in it though.

You should not have put a link to it as I like it and would look good driving it so you better watch out and I can use another truck for the fleet,I wish now I would of kept the 55 dodge panel I had at the cabin as it was not too bad but did not have a title so I sold it to a guy down the road to use for parts for the one he had. Seriously I dont need another truck but if it was a panel I would seriously think about it so if you want it go for it. Jeff

Check on the trader.com classic section as there are quite a few reasonable drivers on there,a company in Illinois has a bunch listed on there but I think someone on the hamb was complaining about them.

We can have a bidding war on it if you want to. It may scare you if I want it that bad. Nothing but money Jeff. ??????

I decided I want a panel if I add another to the fleet so its all yours, that company in illinois has a 55 Dodge p/u for around 1300 and looked to run but was all stock.

I'm still up in the air what I want. I was looking at a Ford today. Depending on what the frame and underside looks like I may end up with that. I figure buying a Ford would be okay since I have a Chevy truck and a tow dolly already Laughing

I dont need any more vehicles but I would like to find something to make a race car out of,missed a 86 mustang GT with a 5 speed for 350 dollars but would rather find something older.

Those little fox bodys are killer 1/4 mile cars. They seem to do good on traction for some reason off the line..Not too heavy either.
