Scroungers Rt. 32 Cruise. May 30th

This is a new cruise for the Scroungers C.C. We will meet at the UDF in Wilder, Ky at noon and leave at 12:30 sharp. We will cruise up to I-275 and over the river into Ohio. We will meet up with the Ohio Chapter and anyone else who want to go at the McDonalds on 32. Address to come soon. Ohio guys will have to be there by 1 pm. From there we head down Rt. 32 at a max speed of 55 MPH. so if you have a gear you should be fine. We are not breaking any land speed records. Our distination is about and hour drive from the McDonalds. It is a farm that has been converted to sell garage items instead of corn. Here are a few spy shots. We will get something to eat (fast food) on the way back.

There are 2 UDF's in Wilder. Please specify. I would assume your speaking of the one right next to 275 on the AA and not the one on the corner of 9& Mock Rd.

The one closest to Newport. That way we don't get split up at the lights coming from off the hill at the other one and also the light getting on the ramp. Easier to keep everyone together coming from the UDF closest to Newport.

I can't make May 30th. Friends from Omaha are going to be at Muncie Dragway for the Nostalgia Meet that weekend. Looks like fun but the racetrack is calling mine and Madonna's name. She's supposed to get a ride in the Hemi that weekend. She's looking forward to a wheel standing ride at about 9:20 and 150 MPH, she rode with him a few years ago but not all out. You'll have to meet up with Jeff that weekend.

I have one of those old gas pumps in my brothers basement people actually buy those? Are they worth anything? Mine is the kind that has the globe on the top...

Nope, no body collects those. That's just a rare occurence that you saw those in the picture. They're worthless! When should I come pick that up for you and haul it away. There's no sense in your brother wasting spce with junk like that.

(My neighbor has an old restored pump in his living room and a couple of unrestored ones in his garage.)
