I fabbed up a set of front mounts to hold the engine. They will need to be taken off later, cleaned up and painted but the engine is now resting on it's own mounts. I'm heading back out now to play with the crossmember and tranny mount. Very Happy

Steve said we need a seal for the windsheild. I'll put in the first $20. If anyone can help out please do. Even if it's $5. We don't have any funds for the gasser. Our club money is a seperate fund. Thanks, Amy

Ok, I'm good for $10 when ya see me. I don't know if I'll make it though, doing without the 10 Double Cheese Burgers for me and my girls (Madonna and the two dogs LOL) It would be nice to have a windshield in when I start driving it to and from work. The next collection should be for a radio and A/C.

I didn't get to the trans mount and cross member last night. I went ahead and grabbed a master to see if it fit. We are good on the master! I also stuck the radiator down in the bay to see where we are with it. 1" of clearance should work! It's not bolted in or anything but we have clearance.

Shouldn't take too many more $10 for a windshield seal. what, about 2 or three more?

Cole what time you going and coming back tomorrow? I might ride along if possible. I don't have to work Thursday and your young and don't need much sleep. We won't be able to stop for $1 burgers because I promised my alowance to the Machine.

Hey.........I got a "Monte Carlo Bar" for the front of a Falcon/Mustang. It's a brace for the upper suspension, of which you have none, but thought it might help stiffin the front end some. Puddin Head and/or Falcon John should know if it'll help. Also, it's CHROME! Should I bring it along if Cole picks me up?

Bring it with ya. I been trying to think of a way to help support the front of the frame. With the front spring eye on the end of the frame I'm sure there is preaser on it.

I bought this cool old 5" monster tach today. I figured it matched the era of the gasser pretty good. It's an old one but looks to be in super good shape.

Randy Vickers donated this old water temp gauge to the project. I'd like to find some old cups for gauges to mount them on the cowl or dash.

$50.00 for the seal and 10 to ship. I called Green Sales and they don't have one so it will have to be ordered.
