I need to stop down and drop off the lift block from Big Dog. I was suppose to last night but I had something come up.

We had a pretty good turnout for a weekday work session. gear oil is in, pullies, starter as well as a few other things went in. The dash and window frame was all sanded down and is waiting for a primer job. We will shoot some paint on the dash and the windshield frame so we can put our windshiels in. By the way we scraped enough cash up last night to buy the rubber seal. We even had 1 cent left over. I ordered the seal when I come in last night. It will be shipped out on Friday he said. Dog brought over some fans, hood pins and a few other goodies as well as some cool flags to hang on the garage walls. Thanks Dennis.

Thanks Kevin. We have been trying to figure out what class the Falcon would have ran in if it was 2750 pounds with a 460 and the year was 1969. yea I know the 460 wouldn't have been in it back then. but that's okay. So far we have came up with D/G. Some of the guys over on the CCC forum have been trying to figure it out. Does the D/G class sound right to the rest of you guys?

We are not gonna put the interior back in. It's just going to be stripped down. I know it won't be 100% perfect as far as a vintage racer but we are not that picky. lol Very Happy

I take it the 2750# was the manufacturer's weight, I doubt if you scaled it with the light weight 460 in it. Any how, at 2750 divided by 460 CID comes to 5.978#/CID. That's an A/Gasser. Man, that thing would really have to run to keep up with the crowd back then. S/G is the 9.90 Super Gas class that came about when they did away with Modified Eliminator and the Gas Coupes and Sedans.
