Next saturday will be a good time to pull the motor,I am also going to throw in a mallory unilte distributor that is on the 460 that will be goiing in my 66 F250. It does not have a vacumn advance so I will be putting in a factory duraspark, the unilite might need some repair as sometimes the motor would just shut off but would restart but I dont know if it was how it was wired up or a bad ignition switch in the donor truck. Okay guys. we need some help pulling the engine and trans out of a car at Jeffs house. we are shooting for this Saturday, 2-23-08. who can go? I can drive my truck up to pick it up but would rather have someone with better gas milage grab it. it will cost me 60 bucks or to drive my gas hog up there. I can toss in 10 bucks to help out on the gas if someone else goes. or if you guys want to have the club pay the gas bill, we would have to have a vote to make it so. one thing is for sure. we are sitting idle without the engine and rearend. we need to get it.
