Re: WHAT do you collect
I collect general Automobilia such as dealership advertising materials, old ads, promotional stuff and the like. I also collect Tiki related things and old highway memorabila (Mostly US 60 and recently RT 52)
I use to collect hot wheels but they lost their appeal to me. I still buy one now and again, but now I take them out of the pack and display them. Know anyone who would like to buy some still in the pack?

Re: WHAT do you collect
You've seen what I like.
Mostly anything old and junky.
Old cars and motorcycles.
Anything to do with gas or oil.
WWII stuff.
I like old magazines also. Popular Science and Popular Mechanics from the '40s, '50s, and '60s.

Anything old. I have some stuff put up that I haven't seen in years. If I ever get a bigger house I may be able to fill it..

Collecting
I don't really think of it anymore as collecting, but I do have some rather large collections.
I have probably about 2,000 45 RPM and 33-1/3 RPM records. Most of them 1950's & 1960's.
They include all of my original records, from when I was a teen-ager and in the Army 1964-66.
I also have a Juke Box that plays my 45's.
I still 8-Track music tapes from back in the day. Some store bought, some I made.
Same deal on Casette tapes that took the 8-Track's place.
Yes, now I'm into the CD thing, that took the place of the above. I like to make my own from my collection's.
I have about 800 VHS tapes. Some are store bought, but most were recorded from the TV.
I did the same deal with the DVD, but not much. I grew up a little bit. lol.
I have quite a few die-cast cars, also.
Like I said, Coke stuff, such as pop machine's, full bottles of Coke, Coca-Cola plates, etc.
Joe Camel, Elvis plates and Elvis stuff, and lots of etc. I think I have bored everybody more than enough.

Re: WHAT do you collect
I have some things that I dig, but I don't collect......... Mr.Barney Navarro said it best; it is better to try and make history than collect it! The aluminum timing tags from his land speed records, he used as shims on other projects.
