he said $300.00 for it. said it ran but ran poor. smoked and it didn't have a lot of power. if you are going to rebiuld it it would be an okay deal. may get it a little cheaper if you talk with him

cool.. that should match the era of the car. I couldn't find an older engine so I used a 350 with 283 pullies and ground off the castings off the heads and bottomed bolts out in the heads and cut them off flush. they came out pretty good. made it look like an early SBC
