I put the hood back on and bought some hood springs. The hinges are so waisted from the hood flopping around for so long that they now bind up with the springs hooked up. I'll have to look for some hinges. :!:

A week before Thanksgiving I took her on her first long haul. I drove through Ky, TN, GA and AL, mostly on the backroads.

The car ran great the entire trip. She cruises out good on the open road. This is not maxed out but just cruising. The gauges don't work on the dash but the speedo works and is right on.
