Steve Vickers bike

I came across this pic and figured I'd post it. Vickers has had this thing for almost 2 years. I've never seen him ride it. it does sound good though.

Tim and me both have tried to get it. he offered it to me for $2500.00 when he first got it. i didn't have the cash at the time. last time I heard he wanted $3500.00 but the price may be higher now. I never seen a guy like Steve. if he sits on something and can't sell it the price goes up and not down. Tim offered him his Harley and some cash and he wouldn't take it. I thought it would be cool to use it like a little moped to creep around town on.

it looks as if it has some jug issues from the pics, and I'm sure that the Lucas electric system(being known on Triumphs as the Prince Of Darkness) has its issues as well. Then there's the Amal carbs, everytime you ride them you better be prepaired for a carb rebuild or atleast a good readjusting....Gotta love a Triumph.....lol $2500 might be in the nieghborhood..$3500 a stretch depends on what shape the motors in...Might get it who knows......Not from me my rigid days are done(unless its a good deal...)
