BLACKTOP BASH #4 - Lewisburg, OH - October 17th 2009

This is a must see show for the traditional rodder. I've been making this my last show of the year for a few years now. Porkchop & Benny put on a great show that is at the hot rod shop. This is not a lawn chair event. You should be tired of that crap anyways! It is mostly a laid back show but it does get a little crazy from time to time and that is what makes it cool. I hope I can see a few fellow Scroungers in my rearveiw mirror on the trip up there..... All you Ohio guys this is in your back yard. Will we see you there?
Last year they put a pig in the pit and had BBQ for everyone. It was GOOD! Ask Johnny. he wanted to buy some to bring home.

barring no issues, Puddin Head, Jerry York and I will be going up.....

Anytime.. Any word on the food? I know last year Johnny went nuts over the BBQ. He said he didn't like that type of food but after he got some he wouldn't stop. I thought he was going to bust.

Well, it's official, I'm going to be going. When/where are you guys planning on meeting up when you get there?

I haven't heard from the Ohio guys if we are meeting some place and rolling in together or just meeting there. It's not a huge show so if we all just meet at the show it won't be hard to see us. I'll be driving Corey's truck. It says Stewart's Speed and Custom on the side of it. Any of the Ohio guys know if they are going yet?

I figure I'll be going out in the Merc. If ya want to meet up, I'm game. If Benny's having food we should meet in a parking lot someplace. If he's not, maybe we should meet and have a $1.00 cheeseburger someplace. I just want to get there early because I'm a power parker and will need to have a prime spot! That's just the way we Show Car guys roll.

Sounds good to me. I will be bringing my son and can get him moving anytime. Just tell me when and where you would like to meet.

We could meet for breakfast like last year. Where was that Doug? Burger King? Is ther a way to get an address for that place? For the ones that need to map quest it.

You know we're gonna have food! Haha. BBQ pork loin sandwiches, fried bologna and hot dogs if yer a sissy! As always it should be some good eats. Come hungry!

My Dad used to cut the edges so it wouldn't curl up when you fried it. One tip you probably won't find on the Food Network!
