Scroungers Christmas Party Dec 5, 2009
Saturday the 5th of Dec. Starts at 3pm. I am hoping that everyone can make this. It is a time for members to sit back and be thankfull for the brotherhood we have within the club. DO NOT BUY GIFTS. Everyone I know has enough to buy for with kids, family ect ect. This is a time to hang out have fun, watch some hot rod flicks and eat some good food. Bring a coverd dish, pop or chips please. We may have a mini meeting to talk about future plans for 2010 and meet club members that some don't know.
I think it's funny I still get asked who is that guy or gal?? With a puzzled look I say you should know they have been in the club for ?.?.? Then I hear " I've never met them." The club is growing and there are alot of member that don't talk on the forum. The party will be a time to get to know everyone.

Mark the date on your calendar. I'd like to get a group picture of the club that night.

I will also bring sugar free goop. I had an idea if anyone is interested. What do you all think about doing a used car part white elephant exchange? The idea would be to find an old car part you have laying around and don't need, you wrap it up all pretty and bring it to the party. We draw numbers. First one picks a gift and opens it. Second one can steal an opened gift or take a fresh one. This goes on until the last gift is gone. This usually ends up being quite amusing By the absurdity of the gifts and doesn't cost a thing. the more obnoxious the better it is. Anyone interested?
