I bought another tractor for parts that had a rebuilt engine since the guy rebuilind mine was taking forever. I put the engine on and now the original engine has been finished. So I need to the engine back out and install the other.

I've installed the original engine that has been rebuilt. Bought a new exhaust/intake manifold. The steering column had a hole in the top plate or I took the column off a parts tractor and started tearing it apart today. I would of directly swapped the two but the good column housing had sloppy gears. Flipped it over when I got it off and found out. It was a little wore out. You see how much the teeth were worn.

I'd like to go through mine. It wasn't even started this summer. pale
I should sell it but I keep thinking I may get out of the city and back in the wood and would need it. I guess it's fine where it is. It's not eating anything.

You better atleast start it up and run it for a while. I didn't do that on two vehicles with efi and the pumps went bad. An old man that rebuilds my carbs said that if they set for 2 years that the carbs dity up and it won't run like it should. Its not bad working on the tractor with the hood and gas tank off. I have some plans to do some stuff to it once I get it together and running. It you tear into yours or have problems, call me. I've taken theis tractor apart completely and should know how it all works. lol. lol!

Got the steering column put back together, painted and installed on the tractor. Also pianted some of the front axle parts. Bought a wheel bearing kit from the dealership. Actually cheaper than ordering seals out of a catalog. Need to order a few parts.
