firewall?
what do you guys want to do about the placement of the engine? I think the begining of the trans tunnel is going to have to be cut for the bellhousing to fit. if we have to cut it I thought about sitting the engine back in the firewall to move some of the weight to the rear. any weight we push to the rear of the car will help it out in a lot of way. just a few inches makes a big difference. it is more work so what do you guys think? is it worth sitting the firewall back to move our weight to the rear a bit?

the further back the engine goes the harder the front end will travel up. the further the front end travels the harder the rear tires are going to hook and a little weight towards the rear will help aid in traction also, so yeah if it is a wheelie machine it would help lift the front end more. we would need a good engine to start seeing light under the wheels though. sitting the engine back will also help make the car more stable. if it gets crazy in the rear you may be able to pull it out of a slide a little better
