Snow is coming.

Amy has been telling me for 2 days we are going to get blasted by snow. I haven't watched the news but she said it's going to get bad. Let it snow. Anyone for sled riding? Anyone have enough nerve to go over the back side of the hilll out at the property? You can jump off before you get to the river.

A MIX OF FREEZING RAIN AND SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA LATE TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING. PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS AND CONTINUE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY. THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES WITH THIS SYSTEM. IN ADDITION... LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE.
REMEMBER... A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR A HAZARDOUS WINTER WEATHER EVENT IN OR CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA.

LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP OVER THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO TONIGHT... AND WILL TRACK TO THE SOUTHERN OR CENTRAL APPALACHIANS BY FRIDAY NIGHT. AS THE LOW TRACKS SOUTH OF THE OHIO VALLEY... A WINTRY MIX WILL OVERSPREAD MUCH OF THE AREA LATE TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY... BEFORE TRANSITIONING TO ALL SNOW FOR FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY. OH, AND THEY'RE ALREADY STARTING TO TREAT THE ROADS WITH THAT LIQUID CHEVY ELIMINATOR (SALT OR BRINE) UP HERE.

I opened the door this morning and the white death wasn't there waiting on me. Hopefully it'll make it later today after Joe is home and has his big truck parked. They had some big trouble with the big trucks on I75 last nite.

I opened the door this morning, apparently someone stole our grass last night and replaced it with seat batting.

We got quite a bit but it sure is pretty. Talked to some guys from Muncie last nite and the one fellow said they had over a foot. That was at about 8:00 last evening. I imagine Junkyard Jeff's out playing on his classic snow plow..........

I got home about 9:30 last night Doug....it wasnt too bad for me in the South this time.....

Got about 10 inches and yes I was playing with the tractor that has the snow blower attachment,it was too wet of a snow for it and would rather use the tractor with the plow but had to get two cars unburied to get it out. Put the gas tank back in Dougs falcon thursday night but forgot to move it over so I could get the tractor out,after that big snow about 5 or 6 years ago that it took the city about a week to get to my road I decided to be able to get myself out so I got me the equipment to do it. Every time it snows I plow the circle I live on way before the city gets here,I am not going to get stuck in the house again.

I was out shoveling and playing in the snow yesterday. Not supposed to do that but have always enjoyed it. Got the driveway cleaned out with no chest pain. That's a big victory. Gotta go up north this morning, be interesting to see how much snow they got.

The weatherman's already advertising more snow for Tuesday. Anything to scare people half to death...................
