Hey Joe.........................

I don't know which way your heading but be careful. We're supposed to get another 6 to 9 inches between now and tomorrow morning. It's already starting to add up here. Its pretty but I'm getting kind of tired of it. Had to drive the old Mercury today with the door tied shut. It must have broke while trying to shut it when it was froxen last week. The poor old thing needs a break but it just sounds so cool lighting flames in the snow.

I was out in it yesterday for a while. The roads where still covered and people was cruising around the streets on ATV's, not something that Newport lets people do down here. I like it myself. I remember this kind of snow happened alot when I was a kid. I don't think we get the snow fall like we use to and we have been due for a bad one. I feel sorry for Joe for having to be in the big rig trying to watch all the nuts sliding around but I love this stuff.

I'VE BEEN OUT SHOVELING AT MID-NITE THE PAST FEW EVENINGS. I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO REALLY BE DOING IT BUT I ENJOY IT. LATE AT NITE IT'S USUALLY PRETTY QUIET AND STILL AND THE SNOW MUFFLES EVERYTHING. I GOT A CALL FROM HOME THAT THERE'S A CAR STUCK AT THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY IN ALL THE SNOW FROM THE SNOW PLOW. I GUESS I GOT THAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO WHEN I GET HOME. BEEN PLOWING SNOW WITH THE MERCURY THE PAST FEW DAYS. THAT THING'S A LITTLE LOW FOR THIS DEEP STUFF. THIS MORNING WHEN I BACKED THRU WHAT THE PLOW DEPOSITED OVER NITE, THE BIG TAILPIPES FILLED WITH SNOW. WHEN I WOUND IT UP, IT SHOT SNOW ALL OVER. WAS PRETTY COOL BUT WAS TOO EARLY FOR ANYBODY TO SEE.
