Aryan's S10 Hot Rod

Corey was a big help getting everything done in one day. The truck was so dirty he had to wash most of the chrome and glass with windex so the tape would stick.


Aryan hasn't figured out yet that when his hands are dirty to not wipe his face with them. This was still early. I don't think I have ever seen him that dirty as he was when he quit for the night.

It was so hot and humid that the primer tiger striped trying to get it to lay a wet coat. I ened up scuffing it back up and mixing it my way and by the time I shot it the weather had cooled off a bit. It laid out pretty well then.

Aryan scoped out a front plate I have had hanging on my wall for years. He had never read it. After he seen what it said I could not talk him out of it. He thought that was the coolest tag. The poor kids has had someone break into his truck 3 time already. There is nothing in it to steal. Not sure why they keep picking it.

He's ready to back up what it says too. You know it was a mock up picture just for kicks but he wanted this photo on here.lol

Time to tackle the blocks. We took out 3" lower blocks and added 2" blocks. It was a pain the way the old owner did the u bolts but we got it fixed right now. Between raising it 1" and the baseball bat trick it worked out perfect. We had it loaded down with a cooler, canopy, chairs, and more. It never rubbed once even with me and Aryan hitting a few hard pot holes on the way down and back. It's funny how 1/4" out and 1" up fixed it. It was close before but now she's perfect.

A few hour of sleep and we was on the road. Thanks Corey and Amy for your help. We would have not got her ready in time without you guys. Aryan you worked hard and did what ever it took to get it finished for the run. I'm proud of you son!


Rewards for his hard work. It doesn't matter how many trophies you get. It doesn't matter if you are a trophy whore or just don't care. No matter what the size or what it's for you always remember your first car trophy award and it seems to mean more than any of the rest you will ever get. This is Aryan's first trophy.

Aryan and Corey, I was amazed with all the work you did last night as well as your dad and the truck really looked good. Especially how well the rear wheels looked. You couldn't have matched them any more perfectly. I bet your both sleeping now! Good job in getting the truck ready for the show. Dedication goes a long way and it shows!

Aryan was so proud of his trophy he took it to Sunday School this morning to show it off.

Aryan wanted to get some good pics of his truck. We used Vickers Valley for a back drop. Fellas I love this little guy to death. He is truly a full blown gearhead. This is the next generation of hot rodders.
