I love that little thing and she's been good to me, besides the little lady has taken a shine to her. She will soon be better than ever. Hope to make it up there tomorrow after noon. Glens is looking good!!!

I just noticed all those fancy tools too. You guys are spoiled. When the wheel fell off the 57 we was lucky to have a rock to beat the studs back in. This must happen often.falconwagon62 wrote:puddin head wrote:Thanks Andy, but I've had Linda Lou for 10 yrs and done all of it myself except for this and the upholstery. Hey I don't mind if she doesn't Andy. Linda Lou likes attention when its in the right way. John just can't get that pic out enough. 800 miles on a bad bearing and welded the race to the spindle. 30 miles from home and she gave up or should I say I did. Steve you know we always carry tools cause we drive, you know, Fords.
Jerry you know the truck has a good gas gauge. Besides if something didn't happen when I drive, its just an ordinary day. I might need to do a book or movie on "Adventures in Falcon Driving".

We laughed more, and had more fun on that trip than most, we always have a good time, sure ALL of us have bumps in the road, but that's why we do it, it's not where you go, it's getting there that's fun...

here is my busted (BEEP) Ford...found on road dead....but not for long!
Look at all the help to change a tire....

I even put a new 289 in my 2 door wagon, well, Kenny Brocker, Terry Rakes, Jim Norvell and Corbin Newell did, all I did was make hambergers!!! and Ed let us do it in his shop...he had AC on a HOT July day!!!

That's why I volunteered to follow you up to Springfield on Saturday. Always entertaining. At least I reminded you to bring tools. Sorry I forgot to mention a can full of gas...... (O:
