Cool.....i killed another lifter on Saturday night ...running that solid roller on the street has been a pain.....im gonna pull the intake in the morning and order another pair of lifters as long as the cam is ok...i havent even got the Monte in the garage yet ......i talked to Randy and he wanted to know if Glenn was wanting in or not.....i tried to call but never heard back from him ......i will have to wait untill he needs something .....

That stinks! I think we are both in the same boat with cars that are not that streetable anymore. I'm making the switch and getting mine ready to cruise down the road better. I spend more time and have more fun cruising than racing anyway. It's the right thing for the 'Bird. I may run it down the track this year but I want to cruise it more.

yea im at the very edge of puttin a solid flat tappet back in but i love the roller in there ....its just at low rpm driving the rollers on the lifters arent gettin the oil they need. Add that with the heavy spring preasure and they dont last ......after edgewater i may go ahead and pull it out for awhile.......
