Scroungers Friday Night Cruise.

Joe and I have been talking about getting the cars out for a late Friday night cruise. We will more than likely run around town a bit and maybe get a bite to eat. Letch is going and said he will drag Don New out with him. Howie and Riggs may be jumping in too. Anyone else want to take a ride and or go hang out some place? Maybe meet at Dixie, eat and then take a spin????? I'm open to whatever. Just no highway runs untill I dump these 456 gears.

I love Dixie Chili! I wish that I could make it, but I currently have way to much on my plate as it is getting ready for a show in Morristown, Tennessee next weekend.

I didn't realize how bad of cabin fever I had from being couped up all winter. It was nothing special tonight. We have done this a ton of times before but I really needed to get out tonight and just hang out with the guys. I had a blast. We ran into some trouble with the hot rod from where they have been resting through out the winter but nothing we could not fix pretty quick. I think we started out with 13 or 14 cars and they dropped off as the night went on. I walked in the house a few minutes ago at 3 a.m. We met at Dixie ran through every UDF known to man. LOL.. And hit Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, Southgate, Wilder and Covington. I know I may sound sappy but it's cool as hell to me to listen to over 10 cars driving through a quit part of town with every head turning as they hear the pipes, cam and stall speeds roaring through. One of the coolest things was listening to 3 of the big block cars sitting at the red light where the 3 was stuck between two 4 story buildings. The lope from the cam from each bounced off the walls and almost sounded like music. We ran across alot of cops but they where all cool. It was a great night just to get out!
