1956 Chevrolet 210 Sedan

Post by falconwagon62 on April 5th 2010, 6:41 pm

I bought his a week or so ago...a 56 210 sedan, prior owner has done alot of work, but didn't finish it, Vicki Nova and I traveled to Harmons Chevrolet parts http://www.harmons.com/ in Geneva IN 46740, a candy store for Chevrolet guys...I spent the cash today, New everything for the insides, New Bumpers, New Tail lights, so in the next 4-8 weeks, little Mary will be re-born.....Stay Tuned, more updates on Mary, plus Vicki's 57 and her 59...warm weather get my HOT rod blood pumping!

John

took the 56 sedan over to Otis to install the WHOLE NEW EVERYTHING inside, bought it all from Harmons Chevrolet parts, Cars Pro-Lo Black interior, I got new bumpers, new Tail lights, and Installed the Lokar Shifter, bought a Aluminum Gauge panel with 2 - 2-5/8 Speedo and Quad gauges, Temp-Oil-Fuel-Volt..Also while at the F100 SUpernationals in Pegion Forge, I picked up a LaCarra Steering wheel and adapter for the 56, Used but still in the box, never mounted....Pics when I pick it up, also this weekend....

here is what the interior is stiched like, but I got all Black vinyl, door panels and all......

WHAT A DAY...got to wrap up a bunch of stuff on the 56 today, it's at the point to make it's maiden trip to Rockin Ricks Hamilton Car Show, LAST one of the year for him! Drove to and from, no problems, dummy that did the wiring prior to me, had running light wired, so when you pulled the headlight on, they all went out! Took me 5 minutes to fix that, other than that, NO PROBLEMS...

I better start eating better!
