Need Some input

I have been sanding down the cutlass and its going to get a flat black paint job for the time being.

I really like the chrome at the bottom but with a flat black paint job is the chrome going to make it look weird?

If i pull the chrome then you will be able to see the rusty doors and i'm not doing any rust repair just giving it some new color for now. untill i can save up for new doors.

What would you guys do?

1. spray it and roll with it with the chrome on
2. pull the shiny a** chrome and then you have rusty holey doors.
3. paint the chrome black also.

Leave the chrome on it. You start pulling it off you will end up with more work and you never know what that chrome is hiding.

I thought some input or opinions were solicited..................

I think flat black works on anything. It turn Aryans truck into a cool little cruiser. It's not just a 50's thing. We have been flat blacking cars since I was 16. Flat black. Hi Jacker Air Shock decal and a couple of Cherry Bombs and you was ready for Friday night.. lol
