aggervated

Post by RsvBill on June 7th 2010, 3:28 pm

So as anything goes, the wife and i were messing with the OLds tonight, was planning on bolting the rear end in that has been done for a year now. and what do you know the U bolts dont work, oh yeah , could not get any from KY Motors, Advance, oreiligh. so tomorrow i will be headeed to Georges truck repair , wsa told they can make custom ones. Why the hell can you not buy the bolts for a 1965 chevelle? 4' on center about 5' long. I truley hate this fing car. everything I start or touch has gone to shit on one way or another. :-)

Is it 4 inched or 3?? Most typical axle housing have 3" axle tubes. If they are 3 you can buy a set of 3 inch lower block from Advance that have the U bolts with it and cheaper than you can buy the U bolts. If you have time to wait Speedway sells them for 3.99 each plus shipping.
