It's offical. The Mustang runs like a typical Ford. I have never drove the car untill today. I went down the street and laid it open. WOW!!

.

.

.
What a slow ride!

Just doesn't seem to have any balls at all. Also I'm not sure if it's a mis adjusted shifter cable or what but the trans seems like it doesn't want to go into drive like it should. I need to get it out where no one is and open it up through all 3 gears. I don't want to waist my time at the track if I can't get into 3rd.
I see a 350 in the future.

I have it sitting out front. Aryan wants to wash it up. I may run out in the county and grab a few gal. of racing fuel later today if anyone wants to ride along.

I'm hoping this one just need adjusted or something. It's going into 3rd but not like it should. It has a manual valve body in the trans so I'm hoping that maybe I just didn't get up enough RPM's or something. I've never drove anything with a manual valve body in the trans so I don't know how it is suppose to act.

Aryan didn't like the cowl hood scoop and neither did I so it was yanked.

Bad part is the scoop was covering up 100's of holes from scoops that had been on the car in the past. It also covered 2 sqaure holes that was cut out. One in the front of the hood and one in the back.

The bracing has been cut out from under the hood and the hood is junk. He needs a new one. I figured I'd touch it up enough for him to get by untill we can get a better hood for it.

The scoop we put on is open in the front so that square hole had to be fixed along with the many, many drilled holes.

Making the body line for the new metal.

We gobbed on some mud and finished it with 40 grit paper to get it shaped and then just smoothed it out with some glaze. Fast and cheap way. Shot a few coats of good primer and it was ready for some semi gloss black.

Need to wash the water spots off but you get the idea.

I sure wish they wouldn't have put those goofy blue stripes on the car. We could have left it alone for a while. What do you guys think about a Viper Red for the body color with semi gloss black mach striping on it?

It was funny today. Arayn was getting ready to wash the Mustang but when I walked out the front he was in the back yard. I was telling him before that the cops would tow the Stang if we got it on the street with race trim. There was 4 cops dealing with something across the street. I figured out Aryan was lurking in the back and trying not to draw attension to the car. He heard me out there talking to the cops and he walked out. Not sure what he was think. Maybe the cops where there to get his car?? LOL. One of the cops came on over and checked out the car and was bragging on it. I guess that made Aryan feel pretty good.

Some of the guys came down the other night. Jr ask to fire it up. When I tried to start it, it acted like the flywheel had a bad spot in it. I kept on hitting the starter buttom but the starter just kicked over. Butch told me to hold on and after he got to looking the starter had fell off the car. ???? I guess Fords are like Harleys. Keep bailey wire and vise grips cause something going to fall off? .
Thanks Butch for jumping in there. He had the starter back on in a few seconds.
