Aryan's 73 Mustang

Other than taking off the breather there was nothing done. I never checked the timing or anything. I wanted a baseline of what it was as delivered. I kind of got it. I was wanting a 13.50's pass up there but there's always next week. Now it's time to start whittling away at the ET.

Steve, do you know Tony King? I was just on the UMTR website and he has a new 3.90 gear for a 9" for sale for $100. I don't know what brand it is. He lives in Alexandria, I think. His number is 859-635-1163.

I walked around the junkyard today and really got to feeling my leg. I think Aryan's car is trying to do me in, Christine style. lol.. Before we hit the race track I had it on the tow dolly. I was sitting in it with the door all the way open. I looked over at the shifter and before I could see it coming the door slammed. I had my one leg laying over the roll bar. When it slammed my knee took the hit but my two cord on the back side of my knee cap was resting on the roll bar. I hurt. BAD! lol. Today it's black and blue and is hurting worse than when it happened. Then at the track first run down the lining in the helmet was ripped and I got two eyes full of crumbling foam. It took an hour to get my eyes cleaned out. I ripped all the liner out. But I missed a stample or two and when I pulled the helmet off I cut my face. Nurse Leopold helped me out. I don't believe in luck or anything like that but if there was such a thing that cat is jinks.

Today's road trip to IN yelded some goodies for Aryan's car. Upper and lower pullies. Alternator bracket and the timing tab.
