Post by RebStew on July 19th 2010, 6:59 pm

Need the water pump pulley and the bottom pulley for a 1970 ish 302. Also looking for the alternator brackets. If you have anything laying around let me know.

p/s or non p/s as it does make a difference, non p/s pulleys are hard to find and you might be able to get by with p/s pulleys but you might have to shim out the alternator some. I have a set of non p/s pulleys but they are not for sale but coulds get a part number from them

I need a set for P/S. Not sure I will use the P/S but the car does have a P/S box on it so I may hook it up later if I can get the pump and all the stuff to do so. Right now just looking for the Pullies so I can get that electric water pump off it and put an alternator on it.

Any 70 to late 70s 302,351-W and 351-C pulleys will work,if you are not putting p/s on right now you might have to space the alternator out some. On the sbf when there is no p/s the belt goes around the crank, water pump and alternator but when there is p/s the alternator is seperate and there are two belts. If you go no p/s look at 70 to 79 trucks since p/s was optional and it was standard equipment on the larger cars, the p/s was optional on the fairlanes and torinos up to a certain year.

Yeah. I figured I have better luck digging through some old trucks. I just have to get time to hit the junk yard if no one has any laying around.
