Possible scammer

Post by junkyard junky on July 31st 2010, 1:56 pm

Just about a hour and a half ago, I posted my 47 ford sedan on craigslist. Within 45 minutes I have this guy calling me. Middle eastern accent and wants to come look at it tomorrow (Sunday). Its apparent that he doesn't know anything at all about old vehicles. I'm kind of suspicious. Am I going crazy or does anybody else think something funny might try to take place?

Like always if I sell something its cash only. I usually get the license plate number if I do not know the person. And I'l have the 38 close by.

It just feels like a scam. I know the scammer are starting to call you when you post something on craigslist.

If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't.
