Slow poke drivers
I know its sunday but if you cant go close to the speed limit get off the road, usually when I had the 37 out I did not mind the slow pokes since I could never drive it that fast but now that is has been regeared its another story. Drove it to the family reunion today and could not get away from the slow pokes, its pretty bad if someone cant go fast enough that someone in a 37 chevy p/u with a little 235 six has to pass you because they are going way too slow. On the way home in the 55 MPH zone on Rt 35 I ran into a slow prius going about 45 and dont get me going about the prius drivers since I can count on one hand how many I seen going over the speed limit and would like to shove them off the road but I never see them when I am in my beater truck,I had to vent as they gave me fits today.

Re: Slow poke drivers
Amen!! If you are on a road trip and want to get down the road you have to stay in the slow lane. Not sure if these guys ever read any road rules or what. IF YOU ARE NOT PASSING GET OVER IN THE FRIGGIN' RIGHT LANE!Chris55 wrote:Whats worse, is the slow pokes who want to drive in the right hand lane.

Re: Slow poke drivers
When I am on Rt 35 west of Dayton it never fails I run into a few slow pokes but today it was bad, after I passed the old couple in the beat up late 80s caddy I ran into someone on a motorcycle that was sight seeing which I tollerated since I sometimes do that when on 2 wheels but he finally got up to speed and suddenly slowed to turn into a buisness so I figured he was looking for something and not familar with the area. On the way home it was just as bad but then it was someone my age poking along,I guess since I seen every inch of land on that road I dont need to look at everything as some need to do.

Kind of like when I got pulled over in the 'Bird years ago and the lady cop was being a tough guy. She smarted off and ask "Does this thing even have a muffler?" I replied NOPE, it has two and you can crawl under there and look.

Re: Slow poke drivers
