Sick of this crazy heat! I'm going nuts sitting in the house and it's too hot in the garage.

Today was a scorcher , my day started out working in an airconditioned house in Deer Park untill about 4:30 then drove over to Hamilton Ohio and pressure washed 2 decks , I think there's more sweat then water on the decks lol , the heat sucks but once your out in it you kind of get used to it , drink plenty of water people and stay cool when ya can .

The heat was too bad so I waited till midnight before hitting the garage. I came in about 5:30 am. It rained for about 20 minutes. That cooled it down. Still hot inside the garage but nothing like through the day.

It's a shame you people can't get used to a nice summer. We have NO air-conditioning, the cars have NO air-conditioning, we've been outside as much as possible. I've been to the city pool in Franklin every work day at noon and after work. If we go out to eat, it's out side because the resturants are usually too cold and uncomfortable. We went to the theater last nite ( The Other Guys was really funny) and took sweatshirts along incase the air was too cold. This is the first nice hot summer we've had in about three years. It's just hard for me to believe after all the crying about how long and hard the winter was, that all you guys are now crying about the heat, affraid

Doug you are full of shit. Say as you will but no one in their right mind from this area enjoys how hot it's been. AC is a luxury I'm glad I have in my house and car. If I had the cash to put it in my hot rods then I would. sunny

What ever................. Very Happy

With the medicines I take my blood is about as thin as gasoline so I like the warm weather and hate the cool for sure. I freeze and get goose bumps right after about every meal because right after eating a lot of your blood goes to your stomach and in my case it really makes me cold. Believe what ever you want, I've enjoyed this summer. Suspect

The only issue I had with the heat was working in that pole barn and like the heat for after dark convertible and bike rides,I loved the summer of 88 when it was real hot due to when driving in a convertible it did not get cold leaving the city limits,I have not driven my car with a/c all summer since the woman has been driving it but its down for maintenance and she will have to suffer like the rest of us for a couple weeks untill I get ready to work on it.

I don't mind the heat or the cold but either one can get extreme to me. The heat this past month is just too much.
The meds I'm on the Doc says to stay OUT of the sun period! How in the world are you suppose to live without going in the sun?? I do it anyways but like I said this years has been something else. I'm living like a bat. Too hot for me in the garage in the day so I start at midnight and don't go to bed untill I see daylight. Then sleep half the day away and start all over. It's been a good summer though. Even with the heat I'm having a blast.
