Everyone Please Be Carefull!
We have been running around with a few of the guys from the F Body Club and even share a member in our club. It seems the F Body Club has had a run of bad luck the last little bit. A few months back they had a member loose his life and left a lot of unanswered questions about the wreck when he lost control of his car and crashed it. This was not some young kid but a sessioned driver. As we all know it's hard to loose a friend and brother but just as the shock of loosing someone was starting to fade they got news the other night that another member was involved in a wreck. The driver is in bad shape but looks like he may pull through. Problems he's dealing with blood on the brain, multiple facial lacerations, a broken arm, multiple spinal fractures and a lacerated kidney. He's lucky to be alive. The sad thing is that his passenger wasn't so lucky. Cory Bradley, 22-year-old stepson of local attorney and radio personality Eric Deters died. This guys life as he knew it will never be the same now that this has happened. My prayers go out to them and the families involved.
The reason for the print is just to let everyone know that I'm sick of going to funerals. So you guys please be carefull and safe out there.

Agree 100% Steve.
Steve Wheatley's accidenet in June is still something of a mystery because even though it was a '98, everything on the car was new or recently replaced, right down to new tires. He had just dropped a new LS6 crate engine in the car and it was properly aligned and suspension components were recently replaced. He was on his way home from work and might have dozed off, but we'll never know & it doesn't matter. He's gone.
This most recent accident with Ron Gambrel may be even worse because, even if Ron can fully recover from his injuries, he'll have to live with all of the other issues.
We all like cars and power and speed and we all like to have a little fun with the cars we put together, but we need to realize our limits and the capabilities of the cars/trucks. And most of us need to stick around for family & kids.
Keep it safe above all else!

I couldn't agree more!
My name was almost added to the list in October 2001. Fortunately, I got out of it with my life and only hip and back ailments to remind me of the event.
