Friday Night Fun Fest

Post by RebStew on August 20th 2010, 7:23 pm

It's been a while since I've took off on a guys night out. Ken stopped over around 5 and then Jimmy and Butch showed up. We made it to Milford, great cruise in. When we pulled in Howie and his son was there. Then later we ran into Johnny and Gage and then Terry. It's was like a mini Scroungers meet. lol
Left there and headed to Dream Street. They are having a cruise in out there every Friday night. Nothing like Milford but it will make a cool place to hit on Friday nights. Mark Kaufman was there and we hung out till late talking abou "way back when" and how many pain, aches and meds we take now. lol.
On the way back home we stopped at the F Body hang out and they were still there. We talked for about an hour and then headed to Newport Pizza for a some grub. Good night!

This is a job for the Dog!

Butch kept trying to say grace over our food but Ken kept bragging about how big something was.

Too dark to take any more pics.
We ran the big blocks hard and sucked down some fuel. This is kind of like mid air refilling plane but for cars. After a few gallons we was ready to hit 3L and the F Body Cruise In. It was a nice cool night. Perfect for cruising.

I still wasn't done by the time I wrote that. I couldn't sleep so I PM Riggs to see if he wanted to hang out on the porch. One thing lead to another and we figured we would sneak the Mustang down to the car wash in Bellevue. I ask a few times if we should. He said yea so we fired it up, it's LOUD and took off through Newport. I was trying to stay away from the cops so we went down 8th, one way so at least we wouldn't pass a cop. We made it to Monmouth and looked down 8th and 3 cop cars where sitting there. We took a left and tried to get the car to roll without hitting the loud pedal. Doesn't work too good. We made the car wash, hung out and started home. We turned off Maple onto 9th and there a cop sitting at the old beer storage place. I tried to take it easy but there was no way to get the car to move wothout breaking the sound barrier. With slicks, Moroso front runners, open pipes and one headlight leading the way I took off down 9th. I figured he'd get me for the one headlight if not the noise. He never even pulled out. Laughing
Riggs was taking video the whole time but it messed up and didn't get any of it Shocked

It was good seeing everybody at Milford! Always lots to look at there as you can see by Steve's pictures. I wasn't going to get the Falcon out Friday because it was so darned hot and I had been working outside in the heat for most of the day. It was pretty hot when I arrived but once the sun started going down and it cooled off just fine. Glad I went!!!!!

Later,
Terry...... I mean Jerry! What a Face
