Re: Bailey I know you bought a new project.
More of a beater at the moment. After this weekend I'll decide if on how I want to procede with it.
I saw an ad on Craigs List for this 1966 Chevrolet BelAir wagon. It was reasonable and when I called the old guy who owned it , he was very upfront about the condition. I decided to run up and look at it this past Saturday. I can say he was very upfront about the rust issues and was willing to negotiate his selling price. Thats always a bonus.
He bought the car from the son of the man who was fixing it up. The son told him that the father was doing a Woody Woodpecker theme. I know, I know, I was shaking my head to. It does explain a few things though.

On the way home we stopped and dropped it off at a show at the Muses Mill Fire Department that was being put on by the Mobster C.C, We then went and got the Ventura and brought it back to. We won club participation and then the Wagon won Bested Unfinished Pick. All before I ever got it home. Did figure out that it needed a dimmer switch, as I started home I turned on the lights and they would only come on as long as I was holding down the dimmer. Fixed now. 6.99 at Autozone.
