Help me identify this car please

This is a picture of my grandfather who I never met. My mother was showing me this and asked me what type of car this is because no one has ever been able to tell her. She's never really tried finding out, but I figured I'd recruit the help of you fella's. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
