Re: Big Bertha is here.
Nope she's not a rat rod. This is a driver. She's not sitting under the barn ratting away. Never seen the beat. I know a guy off of water works. He has 3 or 4 or those rat rod things. I haven't seen any of them out all year. I guess they don't run or he's afraid of falling out of one of them.Vickers wrote: yea jbs10 i agree he got another ratrod

Re: Big Bertha is here.
I messed around with the car trying to get some stuff fixed. The valve cover was leaking. The bolts were less than finger tight. fixed that. The return oil line was leaking. Someone had put a piece of fuel line on it with a brass clamped fitting. The striped the threads so it fell out of the oil filter when I grabbed it.

The fitting is really small. I didn't have one so after digging around I found an old vacuum gauge. It's good up to 190 psi so I hacked one end off and the fitting fit the oil canister perfect. I know that the picture make it look like it's on the exhaust pipe but it's not. Plenty of room.

I am officially jealous! As most of you already know, the 1949-1954 Chevrolets are my favorites. I agree with RebStew, a two door car is a much nicer vehicle than a four door, but two door fleetline is next to impossible to find unless you can knock off beaner. I need to stop down and take a closer look...excellet choice for a daily!

Only reason I would delete anything off the forum would be to clean it up so other are not offended. I very seldom ever delete stuff. Deleting Jeff and my post was out of respect because it had went to far. We talked through PM's and it was settled. My problems with Jeff is between us, so why bring it up. As for this being my world it's not. This forum belongs to the club and we let outsiders in some parts to let them see what we are doing and to be a part of some things. It's a benifit we give friends. If you are not then why log on here? I have a great life and the club is a big part of it because I enjoy it. If you don't want to be affiliated with the Scroungers then why come onto our site? The whole point of you writing anything is to try to get kicked off the forum so you can whine to everyone about getting kicked off. I'm not sure why you have to have the drama to keep you happy but speaking for myself, not the club I think it's been pretty good since you have been gone. I don't hear all the whining and gossip that you were spreading to everyone on a daily basis.
Just for the record anything else you have to say put it some place other than on my progress page. You want to start a gripe thread, then do so. You can whine all ya want to there. Any other post on this thread unless it's about Big Bertha will be moved.

Thanks Greg. I got your text tonight. I was down in Ky with Bailey and a few of the CCC Crew. I would have text you back but I can't text. lolRoller Coaster wrote:I am officially jealous!
