Your Chevy is much cooler, more desirable and more valuable. I wouldn't do it unless you are really in love with the Austin and plan on keeping it, or there was some good cash coming your way with it.

It may be just my personal taste. I just never liked the back end of a 35. The Austin is what it is but I wouldn't trade two 35's for that Austin. I think with todays market and the area we are in with the 35 and the Austin sitting side by side the Austin would sell better. The 35 still needs alot of stuff done. As for keeping it, that won't happen. John will play with it till he's bored and it will be gone or traded for something cooler.

dude called tonight, wants to do the deal, but weather sucks, they had ice storms south of us pretty bad, so maybe before Christmas, I talked to all of you, and I called Danny Mink, owner of Danny's for those of you who don't know him, he said apples to apples, the value would be the same $$ if it were a 37-38 chev, (no wood) maybe slightly higher, but, now, the Austin is one of those cars that is a true timeless hot rod, no question hands down...the chev is more of a gangster car, so if the deal can be done, I will do it, I found a SWEET Grille for the Austin already, if I get it....

It's already trimmed out for re sale red. I'd paint it red. Toss a whopping price tag on it and drive the eyeballs out of it till some yuppie buys it. Twisted Evil
