Rules are kind of confusing. True street requires DOT Rating & my D/Rs are DOT Rated/Compliant. Then the other class is a Drag radial class.

With True street it sounds like you can run nitrous and other power adders. To me, true street is NA.

Might be fun to watch though. There are a bunch of pretty good guys on KYHORSEPOWER.COM.

edgewater has muscle car day /quick 32.must have dot tires....no delay boxes .no electronics. kind of sucks because all the full racecars just go put some dot tires and uplug delay box and their in . sucks for all the real street cars .edgewater / tristate/ thornhill needs to do a race like this ..TRUE STREET i like there rules. weeds out a lot of the full race cars.that has not been tagged n years .never sees the road.sounds like it will b a good time im really goin to try to make this one. Twisted Evil

The guys @ KYHorsepower think to be competitive in True Street you'll have to run mid-10's and mid-9's for Outlaw Street.

There's just basically test n tune all day and at some point they start pairing off the two classes and running them back to back.

It should be a great time.

It would be great if you guys came out to the event!

Here is a little back ground on the Shelby's Outlaw Class. It is the brain child of Mark Cain (Rod Kings CC member). His son Shelby Cain died in Dec 2009. Shelby was heavily involved in the local underground street racing scene as well as a member on KYHORSEPOWER.com.

Shelby was a car guy and loved the 10.5 Outlaw Drag Racing. Eventually we hope to have a 10K payout for the Outlaw class by 2012...... Not bad for a 40.00 gate entry fee. This class is a way to keep his passion alive as well as give back to the many charities for suicide prevention.

Our club helps with the tech and staging lanes and gives out a custom trophy made by us for the best appearing drag car.

So come out make some passes and have a great time.
