Would anyone beside myself possibly be interested in attending this run?

I am not really interested in the "glorifying God" and the "stop for a prayer", but I am definately interested in the "enjoying some of the back roads of our area", "stretch our legs in between stops", and the "proceeds from the ride will be purchasing backpacks filled with school supplies to be donated to underprivileged children and families at the beginning of the school".

You should see plenty of old country architecture (including homes, barns, and churches) and even more country scenery throughout Pendleton and Harrison counties.

Easy. He didn't say there was anything wrong with it. If you aren't interested in it - then you aren't interested in it. That's all...

Unfortunately, there is no polite and/or politically correct way to convey my true feelings on this subject. Therefore, I hope to not offend anyone by using a qoute that I heard a few years ago, "I've got nothing against god, it's his fan club I can't stand".

Bump! This event is this coming Saturday and the weather appears to be cooperating. Althought I am truely making a good faith effort to attend this event, I may need some devine intervention to make it happen. Due to the weather conditions, the Stylemaster has been started, but not been driven since the Boonesboro Boogie in October of last year.

Backpacks & Biscuits Bike & Rod Run

When: Saturday October 1, 2011 (Due to incooperative weather.)

Where: Ace Hardware in Falmouth.

Time: Registration begins at 8 am. Ride begins at approx. 10:30 am.

Info: Registration fee will be $10 per bike or per hot rod. All proceeds will go to buy backpacks and school supplies for needy families in our area. Come on out and enjoy a day of glorifying God and enjoying some of the back roads of our area. The ride will end at Blue Licks Battlefield State Park with a grill out and fellowship. Any questions please contact Jeff @ 859.393.7586 or Joe @ 859.620.2013.

The proceeds from first cruise allowed them to purchase twenty-five backpacks with typical school supplies for needy families. The proceeds from this cruise will allow them to stock their parishes food pantry with supplies for needy families over the holidays.

Due to the fact that this event is on our anniversary, unfortunately, we are unable to attend. Yet, this is a great cause and hopefully they receive the support they deserve.
